DIY HTV HEAT TRANSFER VINYL TO CLOTHES

Precautions before use:

1. Home Iron: Set the iron to a medium setting (302°F–320°F), and press each section of the design with medium/firm pressure for 10-15 seconds.

2. Heat Press: Preheat the garment for 2-3 seconds, apply the design at 305°F, and use medium pressure for 10-15 seconds.

3. Cold Peel / Hot Peel: Peel the clear PET film after the vinyl has cooled down, which should take 15-30 seconds.

Ensure there are no wrinkles on the material. If you're having trouble, try turning the shirt 90 degrees and pressing again, as this should eliminate problems from cold spots. *If you've ruined a shirt, keep using it to experiment. Cut small pieces of heat transfer and try adjusting the temperature or pressing time.
